In the morning session of the 2nd Test Match between England and West Indies, the England cricket team got a flying start from their openers after losing the toss and batting first. England scored 134 runs in 26 overs before lunch. Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope put on a partnership of 105 runs for the 2nd wicket.
Ben Duckett's blazing half-century was the highlight of the morning session on the opening day of the second Test between England and West Indies at Trent Bridge. However, the home teams were under pressure very early in the game when Alzarri Joseph took just three balls to get the first wicket.
Despite losing a wicket in the opening over, Duckett smashed the first four balls he faced for boundaries to stun the bowling side in just the second over of the day. The first six overs felt like a T20 game as Duckett unleashed himself with a flurry of boundaries. With that, England broke the record for the fastest Test 50 by a team as they reached the milestone in just 4.2 overs.
Duckett didn't stop his onslaught continued as he brought up a half-century off just 32 balls. However, Shamar Joseph and Kevin Sinclair did pull things back to an extent by delivering a few quiet overs which finally brought the run rate below six, which helped them to put the pressure and get the much-needed wicket of Duckett as edged one behind to second slip to fall for 71. Pope then broke the shackles with a four and a six before receiving a reprieve before the break.
West Indies Playing XI:
Kraigg Brathwaite (C), Alick Athanaze, Joshua Da Silva (WK), Kavem Hodge, Jason Holder, Alzarri Joseph, Shamar Joseph, Mikyle Louis, Kirk Mckenzie, Gudakesh Motie, and Jayden Seales.
England Playing XI:

It will be really interesting to see how West Indies are going to stop the bazball attack by the England cricket team after the over of Lunch.
