The ongoing Australia vs India Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 is one of the hottest trends especially amongst the cricketing fraternity. The excitement and craze got much bigger when the visting Indian team defied all the odds and handed the Aussies their first-ever loss in Test cricket at the Optus Stadium, having registered aa remarkable 295-run victory on the back of stand-in captain Jasprit Bumrah's stunning spell with the ball. India have already gained the momentum with a 1-0 lead in the AUS vs IND five-match Test series. Both these teams are currently locking horns in the second Test match which is a pink-ball day-night Test match being hosted at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide.
Mohammed Siraj bowling speed crosses all the limits with a funny twist
The Day 1 of the India vs Australia 2nd Test match did not turn out very much impressive for the visitors both in the batting as well as bowling departments. However, the cricket fans on the different social media platforms are currently buzzing about a bizarre incident that shocked everyone. It was really astonishing when one of the deliveries bowled by Indian fast bowler Mohammed Siraj actually showed a bowling speed of 181.6 kmph in the speedometer. But it is very much possible that there should be an error from the speedometer's end because it is seriously humanely impossible to clock that much bowling speed. If this Mohammed Siraj fastest ball turns out to be true, then he surely has become the fastest bowler in the world. While considering the other side of the story, the cricket fans on the social media are absolutely shocked and their reactions have reached another level.
Either Mohammed Siraj is the FASTEST BOWLER EVER or speedometer has smoked weed. @yashoazad.. itni speed mein shoaib akhtar bhi sharma jaye yash uncle.. @shoaib100mph record .. in adelaide..

While talking about the IND vs AUS day-night Test match, Australia's senior left-arm pacer Mitchell Starc showed his class having rattled the Indian line-up with a spectacular six-wicket haul as the visitors were bowled out for just 180 runs in 44.1 overs. Nitish Reddy was the top-scorer for India as he smashed 42 runs off 54 deliveries while the duo of Shubman Gill and KL Rahul also got starts but they failed to convert them. For Australia, the pace duo of skipper Pat Cummins and Scott Boland also picked up two wickets each.
In reply, Australia finished the opening day at 86 for 1 in 33 overs with the duo of Nathan McSweeney (38*) and Marnus Labuschagne (20*) unbeaten at the crease. India's pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah took the only Aussie wicket to fall on Day 1 as he removed Usman Khawaja in the 11th over. Apart from Bumrah, the rest of the Indian bowlers looked pretty much ordinary with the pink ball on Day 1 of the India vs Australia 2nd Test match.
