DC 2025 Full Player List: Delhi Capitals Squad; Players Bought at IPL Auction 2025

A significant ruffle was witnessed in the Delhi Capitals camp ahead of IPL 2025 mega auction. Firstly, Ricky Ponting marked his step out from the squad. Then, in a shocking move, DC did not name their skipper Rishabh Pant in the retention list. According to Pant, his exit from DC has got nothing to do with the retention price. However, whatever the reason, Pant will now join the auction pool as a prospect to bag the highest bid in the mega auction. Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, will enter the mega auction in a search of their next captaincy prospect.

List of DC retained players for IPL 2025

Ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction Delhi Capitals have confirmed the retention of all-rounder Axar Patel, wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav, South African batter Tristan Stubbs, and young uncapped wicketkeeper-batter Abhishek Porel. DC, who parted ways with their star player Rishabh Pant, will enter the IPL 2025 auction with Rs 73 crore in their budget and two RTM (Right To Match) cards. It will be intriguing to see if they opt to use one of these RTMs to bid for Pant during the auction.
