India’s domestic cricket tournament concluded with India A defeating India C in the final of the Duleep Trophy, held at the Rural Development Stadium in Anantapur. India A won two out of three matches and lost one, finishing with 12 points to secure the tournament title, which was played in a round-robin format. India C, with one win, one loss, and one drawn game, finished as runners-up with nine points.
All matches in the tournament were played in Bengaluru, Karnataka, and Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. The 2024-25 season of India’s domestic cricket kicked off with the Duleep Trophy, taking place from September 6 to 22. Most Runs
India D batter Ricky Bhui emerged as the highest run-scorer of the tournament, amassing 359 runs. Close behind him was India B’s Abhimanyu Easwaran, who secured second place with 309 runs.
Shashwat Rawat, representing the champions India A, claimed third spot with 256 runs. India C captain Ruturaj Gaikwad finished fourth with 232 runs in three games, while his teammate B Sai Sudharsan rounded out the top five with 211 runs.
