Get ready for an exciting match between United States and England in the ongoing 9th edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 tomorrow. This match will be the final match for both the teams after making it into the Super 8’s stage of the tournament which will be played at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown in Barbados. It will be really interesting to see which team will emerge victorious in this upcoming game, as it will be a must-win match for them after depending on Australia to beat Scotland and reach in the Super 8 tournament of the tournament. The defending champions bounced back in the marquee event by defeating the hosts West Indies in a high-scoring game before losing yesterday against South Africa by 7 runs.

Meanwhile, the debutant USA started the tournament really well with 2-back-to-back wins out of which one came against India's arch-rivals Pakistan before losing the game against India and a no-result game against Ireland. Despite this, the co-host became the second time from group A to reach in the Super 8 stage of the tournament. However, in the first 2 games, they faced a defeat from a strong team South Africa and West Indies in a nail-biting contest. So looking at the above stats it will be a must-win game for both the teams as Proteas have almost become the first team to reach in the next stage of the tournament but after Englland's defeat against South Africa in their last game, the hopes are still alive for England and West Indies to reach in the semi-final as they have got the same number of points. Whereas, USA would try to end the tournament on a winning note by defeating the defending champions in a must-win game.

Head-to-head, records

\It will be the first time these two teams will be against each other in cricket history.

Kensington Oval, Pitch Report

The upcoming match between United States and England will be played at Kensington Oval, which is a balanced pitch, helping both batsmen and bowlers. Batsmen can expect a good bounce and carry, which ensures that the ball comes nicely onto the bat as the game progresses. However, the last game played at this venue was between India and Afghanistan, which was a day game and the Indian bowlers were getting a lot of help from Breeze during the second innings after posting a total of 181 runs making it difficult for Afghanistan batters to hit the ball which helped the Indian team to win the match by 47 runs. So, the team winning the toss might choose to bat first.

Who will win the match between United States and England?

After losing the last game against South Africa by 7 runs in the final over of the innings, the defending champions will try to win this match by big margins to qualify for the semi-finals on the basis of the Net run rate as the host has also got the same number of points and are left with just 1 match.
