2. Riyan Parag

Another player who received his maiden call-up to the Indian team in the series against Zimbabwe is Riyan Parag. This young batter from Assam has been in top-notch form in the recently finished IPL (Indian Premier League) for Rajasthan Royals franchise. He was among the leading run-scorers in the tournament, which helped his team to reach qualifiers. Although his debut series didn’t go well, knowing his skills and talent he has been backed up by the Indian team management against Sri Lanka. So we can see him playing a crucial role in the upcoming series.

3. Ravi Bishnoi

On number 3, we have Ravi Bishnoi, who was the second-highest wicket-taker for the Indian team in the 5-match T20I series against Zimbabwe. The star leggie picked a total of 6 wickets in 5 games with an efficient economy of 5.57.  In the absence of senior players, Bishnoi was the key player for the Indian team, whenever they needed to break a partnership, he was there with his leg spin and googlies. We can expect this young bowler to continue his brilliant form in the upcoming series against Sri Lanka, which will be played on the slow and turning pitch of Colombo.
