Washington Sundar was the highest wicket-taker for the Indian team in the 2nd ODI against Sri Lanka by picking 3 wickets in his 10 overs of spell conceding just 33 runs has been recently nominated in the ICC Player of the Month for July. The star spinner has been a consistent performer for the Indian team for the Zimbabwe Series where he managed to bag 8 wickets in 5 matches with an efficient economy of 5.16. Not only he is showing his skills with the bowl but with the bat as well by scoring 25 runs in the last T20I of the series that India later won in the super overs.
ICC nominates Sundar, Atkinson and Cassell for Player of the Month
