Indian and LSG wrist spinner Ravi Bishnoi was in great form on Sunday, taking figures of 1/8 in 2 overs as Lucknow Super Giants beat Gujarat Titans by 33 runs in match 21 of the IPL 2024 season. The spinner caught everyone's attention in Lucknow with his fielding skills as he completed a sensational one-handed diving catch to dismiss GT's impact player, Kane Williamson. The 23-year-old wrist spinner bowled a flighted delivery outside off stump, which Williamson failed to keep along the ground and chipped in the air as he went for the straight drive. In his follow-through, Bishnoi jumped to his right and took a one-handed stunner to get rid of the experienced GT batter. Bishnoi left everyone at the Ekana stadium awestruck with his athleticism as he did his trademark celebration after claiming the catch.

Talking about the match, after opting to bat first, the Super Giants posted a competitive score of 163/5 in their allotted 20 overs courtesy of a half-century from Marcus Stoinis and vital contributions from Nicholas Pooran (32 off 22) and KL Rahul (33 off 31). In response, the Titans made a strong start during the powerplay, with their openers contributing 54 runs for the first wicket off just 36 balls. However, they struggled in the middle overs and lost wickets regularly, eventually getting bowled out for just 130 runs. Yash Thakur starred with the ball, taking five wickets, while Krunal Pandya chipped in with three wickets. On the other hand, Bishnoi registered figures of 1/8 in his two overs.
