Underfire Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in match 30 of the ongoing IPL 2024 season at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Monday, April 15. In the ongoing IPL season, the Royal Challengers have started the season slowly, winning one match and losing five matches so far. RCB are currently at the bottom of the points table and badly wants to win to keep their playoff hopes alive. On the flip side, Sunrisers Hyderabad has won three and lost two matches, and currently, they are fifth in the points table. Thus, the Sunrisers would like to continue their winning momentum. Sunrisers are unlikely to make any changes to their team as they continue to build momentum around the halfway stage of the IPL 2024 season.

Underfire RCB bowlers brace for Sunrisers' batting fireworks at Chinnaswamy

Speaking about the last game of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, skipper Faf du Plessis 61(40) got back among much-needed runs that helped the Challengers post a par total against Mumbai Indians. Rajat Paidar came back to form, smashing 50 off 26 balls. He stitched a superb partnership of 82 runs off 47 deliveries. In the end, Dinesh Karthik 53 (23) entertained the fans with the finishing touches, which helped RCB to post a par score of 196 in Wankhede. However, the bowler's form is a bit of concern as all the RCB bowlers were expensive, with an economy rate above 10, which is always a problem while defending par totals, especially on a batting-friendly track.

Speaking about the last game of the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Young all-rounder Nithish Reddy 64(37) played magnificent Innings that helped the Sunrisers post a decent total of 182 against Punjab Kings. In the end, Abdul Samad 25 (11) entertained the fans with the finishing touches, which helped SRH to post a par score on batting-friendly Mullanpur Stadium. However, the Sunrisers bowlers were in control with the ball led by skipper Pat Cummins (4-0-22-1), who bowled superbly, along with Bhuvaneshwar Kumar (4-1-32-2) and T Natarajan (4-0-33-1) helping Sunrisers to defend the target and win by a narrow margin of just two runs.
