One of the most exciting young prodigies in the Indian Premier League 2024 season, Nitish Kumar Reddy, took centre stage with a sensational knock of 64 runs in 37 balls against the run of play when Sunrisers Hyderabad travelled to Mullanpur for their away game against Shikhar Dhawan's Punjab Kings on Tuesday. Acknowledged as the most promising player by the BCCI back in 2018, Nitish Reddy played a crucial role in saving his team from a potential batting collapse. He scored a sensational knock against the run of play at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, which helped Pat Cummins and Co. to secure a victory. Sunrisers Hyderabad all-rounder Nitish Reddy smashed his maiden IPL half-century against Punjab Kings. His knock came in the back of SRH's top-order collapse carried out by PBKS bowlers. Meanwhile, the likes of Heinrich Klaasen and Aiden Markram failed to bail the Sunrisers out.
