Was Mayank Yadav injured in the LSG vs GT IPL 2024 Match?

Lucknow Super Giants' all-rounder Krunal Pandya offered insight into the situation surrounding his teammate Mayank Yadav, who abruptly exited the field during their recent encounter against Gujarat Titans in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024 on April 7th. Mayank Yadav's emergence as a cricket sensation has captured widespread attention ever since the commencement of Lucknow's IPL 2024 journey. The 21-year-old sensation made headlines by unleashing the fastest delivery of the season, clocking an impressive 156.7 kilometers per hour during their thrilling clash against Bengaluru.

"I don't know what exactly happened to Mayank Yadav, but I had a couple of seconds with him. So, I think he is okay to continue in future matches. That is positive news for us. He was bowling well in the nets earlier and last season before missing the tournament due to an injury. Whatever conversation I have had, whatever we see, he has a good head on his shoulder. Really excited to see how his career pans out," stated Krunal Pandya during the post-match press conference.

In his first three IPL 2024 matches, 21-year-old Mayank Yadav has managed to pick up as many as six wickets at an impressive average of 9 and an economy of just 6. More importantly, the right-arm speedster has consistently clocked a sensational bowling speed of over 140 kmph. The Lucknow Super Giants team management will be very much hopeful that Mayank gets fit for their next match against the Delhi Capitals scheduled to begin on 12 April, 2024 in Lucknow.
