The young 31-year-old Dr. was attacked and killed by several men during a break in the seminar hall. The discovery of her body in bad condition by hospital authorities has ignited protests nationwide, calling for justice and heightened safety measures for women.

Bumrah is given rest after his heroic World Cup performance

The speedster has been given rest after his brilliant performance in the World Cup, where he managed to pick key wickets during the difficult conditions of the match and helped the India team to end the title drought of 17 long years. He finished the tournament by being the 2nd highest-wicket taker for Men in Blue with 15 wickets in 8 games.

Looking at the bust Test schedule of the Indian team in the process of the World Test Championship, where they will be playing against Bangladesh, New Zealand and Australia in the upcoming months, Bumrah has been given rest for the Bangladesh series so that he can gear up for the Challenges ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy.

However, before start of the series against Bangladesh, the Indian player will be seen playing in India's domestic cricket tournament starting on September 5 to prove their fitness before India's busy Test Schedule.
