The problem with Tyagi has been his inconsistency with lines and lengths and he would be looking to rectify that in the first opportunity he has got in IPL 2024 against Chennai Super Kings, where he has given 51 runs in his 4 overs of spell with an economy of 12.75. However, the Titans won the game by 35 runs with the help of incredible hundreds by Sai Sudarshan and skipper Shubman Gill, which helped them to put a mammoth total of 231 runs in 20 overs against the Chennai Super Kings at Narendra Modi Stadium.
During the second innings, Chennai was unable to score runs, which made them lose the game by 35 runs thanks to incredible bowling performances by Mohit Sharma and Rashid Khan, who picked 3 and 2 wickets in their 4 overs spell. Kartik Tyagi failed to impress everyone in his debut game as he conceded 51 runs in his 4 overs spell with an economy of 12.75.
