KKR IPL 2025 Full Player List: Kolkata Knight Riders Squad; Players Bought at IPL Auction 2025

The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) definitely meant business when they came into the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025 mega auction). Despite retaining as many as six players ahead of the IPL auction 2025, the biggest development from the KKR camp was that they released their title-winning captain Shreyas Iyer. Kolkata Knight Riders went on to win their third IPL title in 2024 after defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the finals. On the other hand, there has been a history with the Kolkata Knight Riders taking some bold calls at the IPL auction table in the recent few years. KKR are entering the IPL auction 2025 with a purse of INR 51 Crore. 

List of KKR retained players for IPL 2025

The Kolkata Knight Riders surely surprised most of the cricket experts with their retention list ahead of the much-awaited IPL 2025 auction. KKR announced Rinku Singh as their first retention at a hefty price of INR 13 Crore. The trio of Varun Chakaravarthy, Sunil Narine and Andre Russell were retained with an IPL salary of INR 12 Crore each. The IPL 2025 defending champions also retained two uncapped cricketers in Harshit Rana (INR 4 Crore) and Ramandeep Singh (INR 4 Crore). It is very much important to note that KKR has 0 Right To Match (RTM) options available as they have already retained their complete quota of six players.
