Suryakumar Yadav Family
Suryakumar Yadav was born on September 14, 1990, in a middle-class family in Mumbai. You might not know the full name of Suryakumar Yadav is “Suryakumar Ashok Yadav”. Ashok Yadav is the name of his father, who works as an electrical engineer at Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC) and Swapna Yadav is the mother who works as a housewife. Being the only son of his parents, Yadav has received a lot of love and care from them with his sister, Dinal Yadav. Surya's family originally hails from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. But his father moved to Mumbai from Ghazipur city for a job in BARC. In 2016, Suryakumar Yadav married Devisha Shetty, who was a dance coach.
Early Education
Suryakumar Yadav received his early education from Atomic Energy Kendriya Vidyalaya, Mumbai. After this, he was admitted to Atomic Energy Junior College, Mumbai and then to Pillai College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Mumbai. Where he completed his B.Com studies.
Suryakumar Yadav has always been interested in gentlemen’s games since childhood seeing his interest and dedication to the game, his father, Mr. Ashok Yadav, enrolled him in a cricket camp at BARC Colony in Chembur. At the age of 12, he went to the Alf Vengsarkar Academy, where he learned the nuances of the game from former Indian great Dilip Vengsarkar, which helped him to take part in different cricket tournaments later from different cricket clubs in Mumbai. Shivaji Park Gymkhana Club and Dadar Union Club, besides the Parsi Gymkhana and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited teams in Mumbai.
Domestic Career
Yadav started his domestic cricket career in 2010 from Mumbai in the Vijay Hazare trophy, where he set the stage on fire by scoring 41 runs in 37 balls being the second-highest score of the match. Later the same year, he also made his T20 debut for Mumbai against Hyderabad in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. However, he was out on the score of 5 runs, which resulted in a loss for the home team. At the end of 2010, Yadav also made a debut in the first-class tournament against Delhi, scoring 73 runs in his first match.
The 2011 season for Yadav was a great season where he was among the top scorers for Mumbai, with 754 runs in 9 matches at an average of 68.54. Along with a double hundred against Odisha. Seeing Surya's consistency and determination, he was also announced as the captain of Mumbai Ranji team before the 2014-15 season. However, he left the captaincy to concentrate on his batting.

The right-hand batsman was part of Mumbai Indians team from 2011 to 2013 seasons. However, he was unable to get a chance due to the presence of big players in the squad before getting picked up by Kolkata Knight Riders in 2014 seasons as the finisher.
