In less than 1 month, the T20 World Cup will begin in the United States of America (USA) USA and West Indies, where 20 teams will compete in the major tournament for one title. This much-anticipated tournament is going to kick off on June 1st, 2024, after the finish of the Indian Premier League (IPL). To promote cricket globally in different territories, International Cricket Council (ICC) has given hosting rights to the United States of America for the first time to increase the fan base in a US-based country by hosting 8 games for the first time, which also include a between India and Pakistan.
This tournament will be one of the biggest tournaments where 20 teams will play in 55 matches across 9 different cities in USA and West Indies, which will last for 30 days, from June 2nd to 29, 2024. Let's take you to all the venues where the T20 World Cup matches will be played:

1. Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium, Dallas
The opening game of the T20 World Cup between the home team USA and Canada, will be played at this venue on June 2nd, 2024. The Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium will host 4 group-stage games of the T20 World Cup.

2. Providence Stadium, Guyana
The Province Stadium in Guyana replaces the Georgetown Cricket Club ground, as the National Stadium. It was purposefully built to host the Super Eight matches in the 2007 Cricket World Cup 2007
You might not know this was the stadium where the former Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Maling picked 4 wickets in 4 consecutive balls in the 2007 World Cup. This Cricket Stadium will host 5 group stage matches of the Upcoming T20 World Cup from June, 2nd to 8th 2024.

3. Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados
The Kingston Oval stadium is in Barbados. This venue has hosted several national and international games during its more than 120-year history. This historic stadium also hosted the 2007 ICC World Cup final and 2010 ICC World T20 Final with the 5 T20 World Cup matches of 2014.
This historic stadium will also be the stadium that will be hosting the final of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 on June 29, 2004, as well as 3 Super eights games of the T20 World Cup.
4. Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York
Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, also known as the New York Cricket Stadium constructed on the grounds of Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, New York. You might not know, but it is constructed as a temporary venue for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024, which will be hosting 8 games of the major tournament. Once the game is over, the modular architecture will be removed.
This newly made stadium will have a 34,000 seating capacity for the spectators to enjoy the game in the heart of the New York City area, which is one of the most populous places in the United States. Around 8 games will be played at this venue from June 3, 2024, to June 12, 2024. The stadium will be ready around May 2024, after which, there will be several practice games will be played before the main event between the teams. It will host the first game on June 3, between South Africa and Sri Lanka.
This new stadium will host 5 group-stage games of the T20 World Cup. It also includes a game of India and Pakistan on June 9, 2024, along with 3 Super Eight games of the marquee tournament.

5. Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua
Sir Vivian Richards Stadium is a stadium in North Sound, Saint George, Antigua and Barbuda is named after the former legendary cricketer Vivian Richards, who was a great captain for the Caribbean team under which the team won their World Cup trophy.
This stadium has previously hosted 8 group matches of 2007 ICC Cricket World Cup, having a seating capacity of 10,000 spectators, along with 4 games of group stage. It will host 3 Super 8 games in the 2014 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.
6. Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium, Lauderhill, Florida
Central Broward Park is one of the 2 Stadiums in Lauderhill, Florida, dedicated cricket stadiums in the United States. It is the first stadium in to receive certification from the International Cricket Council (ICC) to host international matches; it hosted its first international Twenty20 series in 2010, between New Zealand and Sri Lanka. It will be hosting 4 group-stage games of the 2024 Men's T20 World Cup.

7. Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Trinidad and Tobago
Brian Lara Cricket Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Trinidad and Tobago, which was inaugurated in 2017. It is named after former West Indies legendary cricketer Brain Lara, and has a seating capacity of 15,000 spectators.
It will host 4 group stage games and the Semi-final of 2024 T20 World Cup.

Having a seating capacity of 13,000 spectators.
