MI IPL 2025 Full Player List: Mumbai Indians Squad; Players Bought at IPL Auction 2025

Five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) will surely be hoping to learn from their mistakes and once again pull off another title-winning season in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025). After a lot of controversies and confusion during the IPL 2024 season, the Mumbai Indians have already announced that star all-rounder Hardik Pandya will continue to serve as the MI captain for the IPL 2025 season as well. The Mumbai Indians had a really poor IPL season in 2024 where they finished at the bottom of the points table with a total of 10 losses and just 4 victories. It has to be an important IPL auction 2025 for MI who are one of the most successful teams in the IPL history alongside Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

Without any doubt, the Mumbai Indians owners and the management pulled off a stunning decision when they retained all of their star cricketers in Rohit Sharma (INR 16.30 Crore), Hardik Pandya (INR 16.35 Crore), Jasprit Bumrah (INR 18 Crore) and Suryakumar Yadav (INR 16.35 Crore) alongside Tilak Varma (INR 8 Crore). There were a lot of rumours floating around during the IPL 2024 season about a possible rift between these high profile players especially after Hardik's big-money trade from Gujarat Titans (GT) to Mumbai Indians and him being named captain of the team replacing Rohit Sharma who had won them as many as five IPL titles. MI entered the IPL 2025 mega auction with a purse of INR 45 Crore. Moreover, the Mumbai Indians also have one Right To Match (RTM) option available, however, they can only use it for an uncapped player as they have already retained a maximum of five capped cricketers.
