MPL: Know What Went Wrong For Rewa Jaguars In The Match Against Bhopal Leopards

In match number 7 of Madhya Pradesh League (MPL), after winning the toss, Rewa Jaguars decided to bat first against Bhopal Leopards, where they managed to score 141 runs in 20 overs with the help of a crucial fifty by captain Himanshu Mantri (52), who stood like a pillar at the crease against Bhopal Leopards, which helped them to put a respectable total of 141 runs on the board at Gwalior International Stadium.

Rewa Jaguars lost consistent wickets throughout the innings after making an opening partnership of 28 runs against Bhopal Leopard's pace attack where Mihir Hirwani, Gautam Raghuwanshi and Priyanshu Shukla picked 3,2 and2 wickets each from Bhopal.

During the second innings, while chasing a target of 141 runs, Jaguar made a good start by picking the 1st wicket on the score of 20 runs inside the first powerplay before Siddharth Patidar and Harsh Gawali, formed a partnership of 44 runs for the 2nd wicket, which helped them one step ahead to reach the target. Later, Aniket Verma and Madhav Tiwari took the Bhopal innings forward by making a strong partnership of 41 runs with the knocks of 34 and 17 runs, respectively.

With this win, Bhopal Lions have won their first match of the tournament and are sitting in the 4th position after having 2 points in 3 games so far in the tournament.
