Mustafizur Might Be Seen Missing the Next Game For CSK

Mustafizur Rahman, who is currently the Purple cap holder in the Tata Indian Premier League with 7 wickets, might be seen missing the next game for CSK as he will be travelling back home to get the visa for the T20 World Cup, which will be starting just after the accomplishment of IPL from 1st June 2024. Chennai Super Kings will play their next game against Sunrisers Hyderabad on the 5th at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. 

It will be an interesting game for both teams as CSK is coming into this game after losing the match against Delhi Capitals. Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad is coming into this game after losing the game against Gujarat Titans at Narendra Modi Stadium on 31st March. Mustafizur has traveled back to Bangladesh to complete visa-related formalities to ensure smooth travel to the USA for the T20 World Cup 2024, scheduled for June. The 2024 T20 World Cup is being co-hosted by the United States of America and West Indies, which will begin on 1st April 2024, and it is expected that after completing the biometric process for the visa. The Bangladesh pacer will have to wait a few days before the passport is returned. So he can be seen missing more than 1 game for the Chennai Super Kings in the ongoing Tata Indian Premier League.

According to the news from internal sources, Mustafizur biometric appointment is scheduled for April 4, and CSK's next game is against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 5th, he will be unavailable. However, if there is a further delay, he might be seen missing the next game against Kolkata Knight Riders on the 8th.

Mustafizur started the tournament with 4 wicket haul in the opening game against Royal Challengers Bangalore at Chepauk Stadium, continuing his good performance in the next match against Gujarat Titans by picking 2 crucial wickets and 1 wicket haul in the last game against Delhi Capitals in the losing cause. However, Mustafizur will be playing till 30th April and after that, he will be joining his national team for the five-match T20Is series against Zimbabwe.
