Pakistan star wicket-keeper batsman Azam Khan has been involved in a big controversy after he was seen wiping sweat on his forehead with US Dollar notes in the video. The Pakistan team are on an England tour for a 4-match T20I series to get ready for the World Cup, which is scheduled to take place from June 2nd in the West Indies and USA. However, the first match was abandoned due to rain. The second T20I is set to be played on May 25 at Edgbaston in Birmingham and the left 2 games will be played in London and Cardiff, respectively. It will be the last T20I series for both teams before heading towards the ICC event.

Throwing light on the Pakistan team, the latest video went viral on social media where the Pakistan wicket-keeper, Azam Khan, is seen wiping his forehead with US dollar notes. The video was captured by Pakistan’s white-ball captain Babar AzamSome other team members can be heard laughing.

During the viral video, the Pakistan captain has been seen asking Azam Khan, ‘ What happened Abba?’

Khan replies, “Bohat garmi hai (It is too hot here)” before starting to wipe the sweat on his forehead with a few US dollar notes that were in his hand.

It is to be noted that the viral video is from May 20, which was a couple of days ahead of Pakistan’s first T20I match against England. Netizens have criticized Azam Khan and other Pakistani players for entertaining such an act.

Talking about Pakistan’s team's current form, they are coming out in this series after drawing a 5-match T20I series against New Zealand by 2-2 and 1 with no result. After equaling the New Zealand series, the Men in Green went to Ireland for a 3-match T20I series, where in the 1st T20I, they faced an upset from the Ireland team when they defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets. However, after this game, Pakistan 2 back-to-back games of the series and finished it with 2-1.
