1. Rohit Sharma 106 vs South Africa
India's senior opening batsman Rohit Sharma smashed his maiden T20I hundred against South Africa at home in 2015. He contributed with a brilliant knock of 106 runs off 66 balls that included as many as 12 fours and 5 sixes. The duo of Kohli and Rohit composed a fine partnership of 138 runs for the second wicket to help India reach a challenging total of 199 runs in their quota of 20 overs. However, the Indian team suffered a disappointing 7-wicket defeat at the hands of South Africa as they chased down the target in 19.4 overs.
2. Rohit Sharma 118 vs Sri Lanka
During the T20I series against Sri Lanka, Rohit Sharma went on to score his second century in the shortest format of the game. He looked in a tremendous form in 2017 having scored a sensational double hundred in the earlier ODI series and then notched up a beautiful century in the following T20I series as well. Rohit played an incredible innings of 118 runs off just 43 balls that included 12 fours and 10 sixes. In the same game, he smashed the joint fastest T20I hundred that came off just 35 balls equalling David Miller's record.
3. Rohit Sharma 100* vs England
In the series-deciding 3rd T20I match against England, Rohit Sharma once again came to the fore as India had to chase down a target of 199 runs to seal the series in their favour. The senior Indian opener showed his class and why he is called the 'Hitman of Cricket' by blasting a phenomenal hundred in the tricky run-chase at the County Ground in Bristol. He smacked an excellent unbeaten knock of 100 runs off just 56 balls that consisted of 11 fours and 5 sixes to help India pick up an amazing series win with as many as 8 balls to spare which went viral in all of the cricket news platform.
4. Rohit Sharma 111* vs West Indies
During the five-match T20I series against West Indies in 2018, while captaining the Indian team, Rohit Sharma looked at the top of his game. With his favourite opening partner in the form of Shikhar Dhawan at the other end, the swashbuckling batsman notched up an exceptional unbeaten innings of 111 runs off only 61 balls that comprised of 8 fours and 7 sixes. After registering a total of 195 for 2 in the first innings, Team India went to win the game by a comprehensive margin of 71 runs in the second T20I match. The Indian skipper was named the Man of the Match for his match-winning efforts with the bat at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
5. Rohit Sharma 121 vs Afghanistan
While talking about the Rohit Sharma stats in the T20I format of the game, he has scored a wonderful tally of 3974 runs from as many as 151 T20I matches at a fine strike-rate of close to 140 that consists of 29 half-centuries and 5 hundreds. He is also the fourth batsman to score a hundred in all the three formats of the game as a captain of the national team.
