In order to book a spot in the IPL 2024 playoffs, Delhi Capitals will have to beat Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Lucknow Super Giants in their final two league games by a good margin to improve their Net Run Rate (NRR) as well.

In the absence of Rishabh Pant, left-arm spinner Axar Patel might be appointed as the stand-in captain for this RCB vs DC IPL 2024 match on Sunday. However, the Delhi Capitals team management can also look to explore the option of bringing back senior Australian batsman David Warner to provide some solidity at the top. Shai Hope is expected to keep the wickets while Gulbadin Naib might retain his spot as the all-rounder who can do some big-hitting in the lower-order.
