Devon Conway was part of the Chennai Super Kings franchise in the IPL (Indian Premier League) for the 2022 and 2023 seasons. Meanwhile, in his 2nd season, he was among the leading run-getters of the team with 672 runs in 15 games at an average of 51, having 6 half-centuries to his name. However, after a brilliant season, he was ruled out from the next edition due to a thumb injury before the start of the season. In his place, the Yellow Army signed Richard Gleeson for the 17th edition.
After missing out on the last season from Chennai Super Kings, the Kiwi-star batter is all set to feature in SA20 from the Joburg Super Kings franchise for the 2025 season after they announced the signing of the Southpaw batter. The New Zealand cricketer shares a special bond with Yellow Jersey as he has already played from 2 franchises till now in IPL for Chennai Super Kings and Texas Super Kings in Major League Cricket.

Devon Conway has a very successful T20 career where he has scored 6028 in 189 matches by hitting 2 hundred and 48 fifties to his name. Talking about his recent performance in MLC where he amassed 293 runs in eight matches at a strike rate of 143.62, which featured three half-centuries.
Apart from Devon Conway, former Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik will also be taking part from Paarl Royals. With this, he will become the first Indian player to join the SA20 league.
