In the match between India A and India B, the cricketing fans got a chance to witness one of the funniest incidents when India B batter Sarfaraz Khan mocked Kuldeep Yadav by jumping in front of him after being caught by his brother Musheer Khan. Under Shubman Gill's leadership, India-A had a bad start with the bat, as the India-B pacers took full advantage of the seam-friendly conditions in Bengaluru, bowling them out for a low total in the Duleep Trophy. Despite the batters' disappointing display, India-A found a glimmer of hope when Akash Deep and Kuldeep Yadav forged a brilliant partnership.

The partnership was eventually broken by Washington Sundar, who dismissed his fellow spinner, Kuldeep Yadav, bringing India-B closer to a well-earned victory. However, the highlight of the moment was Sarfaraz Khan's playful reaction, as he teased Kuldeep with Javed Miandad's iconic jumping celebration.

The incident took place during the 48th over of India-A's second innings when Abhimanyu Easwaran was eager for someone to claim the eighth wicket for his team. Washington Sundar answered the call with his golden arm, delivering a brilliant ball to dismiss Kuldeep.

Sundar began his over with a dot ball before pitching one up, enticing Kuldeep into a false stroke. The seasoned wrist-spinner took the bait, driving the ball straight to Musheer Khan at cover, who made an easy catch. As Kuldeep made his way back to the dugout, an elated Sarfaraz Khan playfully jumped in celebration, teasing his India teammate. His animated reaction instantly reminded fans of Javed Miandad's iconic jump, which he used to mock a talkative Kiran More during the intense India vs Pakistan showdown in the 1992 World Cup.

Powered by a brilliant bowling display, India B secured an impressive 76-run win over India A in the 2024 Duleep Trophy. Chasing a target of 275, Shubman Gill's side was largely undone by their underperforming batting lineup in both innings. The captain couldn’t convert his starts, while key players like Mayank Agarwal, Dhruv Jurel, and Shivam Dube faltered against the relentless India B bowling attack.
