In the 21st match of the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2024, South Africa will be locking horns with Bangladesh scheduled to be hosted at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York on 10 June, 2024. Both these teams will be feeling high on momentum after having witnessed impressive victories in the respective previous outings. South Africa are currently unbeaten in this edition of the mega event after having registered brilliant consecutive wins over Sri Lanka and Netherlands. On the other hand, Bangladesh managed to beat Sri Lanka in their first game of the tournament by a margin of 2 wickets. It will be an important game for both these teams in the context of this Group D clash in the T20 World Cup.

While talking about the head to head battle between these two sides, South Africa have been a dominant force against Bangladesh. In the 8 T20I matches played between these two teams, South Africa have managed to beat Bangladesh on all of these occasions. During the last match between these two sides in the T20 World Cup 2022, the Proteas defeated Bangladesh by a convincing margin of 109 runs.

South Africa are once again competing in an ICC tournament with a pretty balanced playing combination and they will be looking forward to get their hands on the prestigious trophy for the first time. In the start of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, South Africa's bowlers dismantled the Sri Lanka batting line-up. However, during the second win against Netherlands, the Proteas did struggled to dictate the terms with the bat as they collapsed to 12 for 4 inside the first six overs of the powerplay. South Africa have a lot of explosiveness in their batting line-up like Quinton de Kock, Reeza Hendricks, Heinrich Klaasen, David Miller and Tristan Stubbs while the duo of Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje are leading the bowling attack.

On the other hand, Bangladesh started off their T20 World Cup campaign with an incredible win over Sri Lanka in Dallas. Bangladesh played their second warm-up match against India at this tricky Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York while South Africa have the advantage of playing both of their games at the very same venue so far. Bangladesh have the experience of Shakib Al Hasan, Litton Das, Mahmudullah and Soumya Sarkar in the batting department. On the other hand, Mustafizur Rahman and Taskin Ahmed are expected to play a crucial role with the ball.
