WHOA! Team India are finally the ULTIMATE CHAMPIONS! The Men in Blue have registered a spectucular 7-run victory over South Africa in the final clash of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 final hosted at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados. After 13 long years, the millions of Indian players have finally been answered as the Rohit Sharma-led Indian team have won the prestigious World Cup trophy. While batting first, India posted a challenging total of 176 for 7 in their 20 overs on the back of Virat Kohli's impressive innings of 76 runs off 59 deliveries. Axar Patel also smashed 47 runs off 31 balls while Shivam Dube played an exciting cameo of 27 runs lower down the order. 

In the second innings, South Africa showed an incredible fight as Heinrich Klaasen smacked 52 runs off only 27 balls, however, the Indian bowlers came back sensationally well in the death overs to restrict the opposition at 169 for 8. Hardik Pandya took two crucial wickets while Bumrah and Arshdeep bowled extremely well at the death and Suryakumar took a stunning catch to dismiss the dangerous David Miller. India have eventually brought the trophy home on the back of a collective team performance.

Team India are marching into the finals of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 after having completed a sensational revenge victory over defending champions England in the second semi-final at the Providence Stadium in Guyana. After being asked to bat first on a tricky pitch, the Men in Blue managed to reach a fighting total of 171 for 7 in their 20 overs on the back of skipper Rohit Sharma's second consecutive half-century while Suryakumar Yadav also smashed 47 runs off 36 deliveries. On the other hand, India's spin duo of Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav bowled superbly well to rattle England for a paltry total of 103 runs. South Africa have absolutely thrashed Afghanistan to qualify for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 finals with a sensational 9-wicket victory at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinidad on Thursday. During the first semi-final, Afghanistan were rattled for a paltry total of 56 runs as the South African bowlers delivered a stunning collective performance with left-arm pacer Marco Jansen and Tabraiz Shamsi picking up three wickets each while the duo of Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje took two scalps each. On the other hand, South Africa chased down the easy target in just 8.5 overs to finish off the mere formalities. 

In the first semi-final of the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup, South Africa will be taking on Afghanistan scheduled to be hosted at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinidad on 27 June, 2024. In a massive historic moment, Afghanistan have qualified for the semi-finals of the 2024 T20 World Cup after a fabulous 8-run victory over Bangladesh on Tuesday at the Arnos Vale Ground in Kingstown, St Vincent. This also means that the ODI World Cup 2023 winners Australia have been knocked out and so have been Bangladesh from this T20I mega event. After batting first on a slow surface, Afghanistan managed to score a below par total of 115 for 5 in their 20 overs as skipper Rashid Khan played a crucial cameo of 19 runs towards the end. 

In the second innings, there was a lot of drama as Bangladesh kept on losing wickets from one end while Litton Das was scoring runs from the other side. However, eventually the Afghanistan bowlers held their nerves remarkably well that forced Bangladesh to choke down as they were bowled out for 105 runs in 17.5 overs. For Afghanistan, the duo of Naveen-ul-Haq and Rashid Khan picked up four wickets each.

Team India are marching into the semi-finals of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 with a fabulous 24-run victory over Australia in their final Super 8 clash on Monday at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, St Lucia. After being asked to bat first, the Men in Blue posted a massive score of 205 for 5 in their quota of 20 overs on the back of skipper Rohit Sharma's remarkable knock of 92 runs off just 41 balls that included 8 sixes and 7 fours. There were some useful contributions from the trio of Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube and Hardik Pandya. In the second innings, Travis Head was once again smashing the Indian bowlers all around the park having notched up another blistering knock of 76 runs off only 43 deliveries. However, Indian bowlers held their nerves really well and took wickets regularly at the other end while Jasprit Bumrah showed his class by picking the prized scalp of Head in the 17th over to seal the game.
