Despite promising moments, their performance was inconsistent, leaving them in fourth place on the points table. One of the key concerns was the lack of form displayed by captain Alyssa Healy, whose struggles at the top of the order heavily impacted the team’s overall batting efforts. Unlike franchises such as Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai, UP’s Indian batting contingent lacked the depth and firepower needed to compete at the highest level. Foreign players like Alyssa Healy, Grace Harris, and Sophie Ecclestone faced significant pressure to carry the team, but their inability to deliver consistent performances ultimately contributed to the team’s underwhelming campaign. As a result, the Warriorz ended the season without a playoff spot, prompting the franchise to reassess its strategy and squad composition ahead of the 2025 season.

Recognizing the need to bolster their Indian lineup, the franchise prioritized acquiring quality domestic talent. They successfully signed promising players such as Arushi Goel and Kranti Goud while also adding international star Alana King to their roster. These acquisitions are expected to bridge gaps in the squad and improve their chances for a stronger 2025 campaign.
