Incidentally, the Lankan spinner was seen bowling left-arm spin to Angkrish Raghuvanshi and right-arm off spin to Venkatesh Iyer on his IPL debut. During his solitary over bowled in the KKR vs SRH IPL 2025 match, he ended up dismissing Angkrish Raghuvanshi who was well set at the crease and already notched up an impressive fifty. He has also notched a couple of half-centuries each in ODI and T20I cricket while playing 19 ODIs and 23 T20I matches so far in his short international career.
