In the latest breaking news development, Indian actress and model Ridhima Pandit has finally broken the silence about her ongoing viral wedding rumours with star cricketer Shubman Gill. This is not the first time in the entire cricketing history when the players have been linked with actresses and models. Shubman is one of the rising cricketers at this moment who is part of the national team across the three formats of the game. The right-handed batsman was recently also part of the Indian team that qualified for the final of the 2023 ODI World Cup at home. He was appointed the captain of the Gujarat Titans (GT) in the recently concluded edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024).

While talking about the Indian actress, Ridhima Pandit, came into the limelight for her role as Rajni in the popular Hindi TV show, 'Bahu Humari Rajni Kant'. The beautiful model also participated in the famous reality show named Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 where she finished as the second runners-up. She is a quite popular name in the Indian television drama at this moment. 

Ridhima Pandit completely refused the wedding rumours with Shubman Gill and even mentioned that she did not knows the cricketer that well. On the other hand, there have been strong rumours doing the rounds on the social media that the couple are all set to tie the knot in December later this year. However, the Indian TV actress has denied the false reports and stated that nothing is real in these sources linking her with the Indian cricketer. 

"It is some people's imagination, I guess! Somebody creates a story and then it goes viral on social media. I don't even know Shubman Gill personally. This is ridiculous. I started receiving congratulatory messages since morning, and I was tired of denying this gossip. I finally decided to post it on my social media handle," Ridhima Pandit said in an interview with ETimes. 

"I woke up with a lot of calls from journalists and this has never happened. A lot of them want to know about my upcoming shaadi but to whom? No, it's not happening. Go on with your lovely day. Kuch hoga toh main bata dugi saamne se (If something like this is happening in my life I myself would announce it). Nothing is happening now. Bye," the TV actress posted on Instagram recently.

While talking about Shubman Gill, he is currently part of India's travelling reserves for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. He is one of the four reserve players alongside Rinku Singh, Khaleel Ahmed and Avesh Khan. Shubman scored a wonderful century in the IPL 2024 game against Chennai Super Kings, but he couldn't help the Gujarat Titans qualify for the knockouts.
