The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially unveiled the schedule for the highly anticipated Women’s Premier League (WPL 2025). The tournament, featuring five teams, will take place from February 14 to March 15 across four major cities: Baroda, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Mumbai. This exciting season promises thrilling cricket action as the league continues to grow in stature and popularity. The inaugural match of the season is set for February 14 at Baroda’s BCA Stadium, where the Gujarat Giants (GG) will take on the defending champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). Baroda will host a total of six matches during the early stages of the tournament. Following this, the action will shift to Bengaluru, where RCB will play their first home game against the Mumbai Indians, the inaugural champions, at the iconic M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on February 21.

Bengaluru will host a total of eight matches in the Women's Premier League 2025, ensuring a significant portion of the tournament's excitement takes place at this renowned venue. The remaining matches of the tournament will be spread across Lucknow and Mumbai, with the final scheduled to take place in Mumbai on March 15. The WPL 2025 promises to deliver world-class women’s cricket, with the best talent from around the globe coming together for a month of high-octane action, showcasing the growth of women’s cricket in India and its expanding global appeal.

In an exciting development, Lucknow will make its debut as a WPL venue in 2025, hosting four matches starting from March 3. This addition further enriches the tournament's geographic spread, with the city providing a fresh atmosphere for the league’s growing fanbase. The final leg of the WPL will take place in Mumbai, with the Cricket Club of India (CCI) serving as the venue for the last two league matches and the subsequent playoff games. The iconic CCI will set the stage for some crucial matches as the league approaches its climax.

The group stage will conclude with Mumbai Indians (MI) facing Gujarat Giants (GG) on March 10 and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on March 11. These matches will determine the final standings before the knockout stage begins. On March 13, the second and third-placed teams will meet in the Eliminator, with a spot in the final up for grabs. The tournament will culminate in the highly anticipated summit clash on March 15, where the top two teams will battle it out for the WPL 2025 title.
