Liverpool continue to have one of their best seasons in both English Premier League and UEFA Champions League as they lead both the tables. The Merseysiders are enjoying a fine run of form. However, they have one issue pending and that is they are yet to land a deal with Mohamed Salah. While negotiations continue, the Egyptian international is also garnering some great interest from the Saudi Pro League.

When asked about the same to Liverpool manager, Arne Slot, he mentioned that he would have been surprised if there were no interest in securing Salah’s services. He also said that he does not have any advice as the player has done exceptionally well in his career without his advice. Arne Slot said:

It would be a surprise if anyone said they didn't want Mo Salah! He has done so well for so many years and he has done so well without my advice so he can keep doing what is best for his career While talking about the career choices, Arne Slot mentioned that the 32-year-old has made smart decisions ever since his days in Chelsea so he will make the right decision going forward.

My advice is different to the one you just mentioned [Saudi Minister of Sport's comments]. I am not surprised someone wants him. He has done so many smart things in his career, so he will make the right decision for him and hopefully us in his career.

Arne Slot appreciates AFC Bournemouth prior to the Premier League fixture

Andoni Iraola’s side is going hamme and tongs at the opposition in the English top flight and Arne Slot could not hide his appreciation for them. Liverpool are set to face AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League fixture, and he appreciated their style of play, grit, and determination on the pitch. He said:

"It's a big one. I knew this when we played the second half in the home game. We were 3-0 up at half-time but they kept on going at us. That showed me the character. Since then, they have been outstanding. [Andoni Iraola's] players work incredibly hard. In a different way to Arsenal, they are a threat at set-pieces. Maybe they deserve to be higher than the position they are at the moment."

AFC Bournemouth will look to enter the top four with a win on the weekend, whereas Liverpool would want to extend their streak at the top of the table and expand the lead between them and the chasers.
