In a big delight for the Real Madrid fans, attacker Brahim Diaz is likely to be fit for the much-anticipated first El Classico of the season. Diaz picked up an adductor injury last month during Madrid’s 2-0 win over Real Socieded.

Earlier, it was reported that it would take three months for him to return to action. However, the Real Madrid attacker recovered much quicker than expected and was spotted training on the pitch, earlier, this week.

And, now, in a fresh piece of news, AS has reported that Diaz will be available for the El Classico encounter, scheduled on 26th October 2024 at Santiago Bernabeu.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid will return from the international break on the 19th of October with a clash against Celta Vigo. The report further suggests that Brahim Diaz might get some game time against Borussia Dortmund, scheduled on 22nd October. The Real Madrid attack hasn’t performed up to their standards and they would want Diaz to be available for the important clash against Barcelona.

Real Madrid’s defender Jacabo Ramon sidelined with a muscle injury

Injuries continue to hamper Real Madrid’s growth this season. To add to their woes, defender Jacobo Ramon has also been sidelined as he has picked up a muscle injury. Ramon has now been added to the long list of injured players at the Real Madrid camp.

Marca has reported that the injury isn’t deemed serious, however, it has brought further tension for Ancelotti, who is already struggling to pile up a strong defensive unit. Eder Militao will take at least 10 days to be back from a muscle injury, while David Alaba isn’t likely to return any time soon. He picked up a cruciate ligament tear last year.

In addition, young defender Joan Martinez continues to be on the sidelines due to a ligament rupture. The recent knee injury to the vice-captain Dani Carvajal has only made things worse for them. He could be out for the remainder of the season.

As the January transfer window approaches, Real Madrid needs to see if they can rope in new contenders to strengthen their defensive unit or express hope in their current set of players to recover soon. As of now, reports suggest that Madrid has no plans to make any new signings.
