Carlo Ancelotti has dismissed the criticism he would face after the Arsenal clash on Tuesday in the UEFA Champions League. He mentioned that he cannot heed the criticism that comes up every three days. This follows the club's failure to secure a victory in the La Liga fixture against Valencia over the weekend, leaving them six points behind the title challengers, FC Barcelona.

Speaking to the media, the former Everton manager stated that after every game, they regroup to prepare for the next one. While he emphasized the importance of winning the first game, he also mentioned that it is only the first 90 minutes, and the club has a chance to rebound in the next 90 minutes at Santiago Bernabéu. Ancelotti said:

We can't think about criticism when we have a game every three days

What we do is analyse each game and prepare for the next one. Tomorrow's game is very important, but it's only the first 90 minutes of the tie.

It is not decisive because there are another 90 minutes to be played at the Santiago Bernabeu next week

The last time both sides faced each other in the knockout stage, during the 2005/06 season, Arsenal emerged victorious with a solitary goal scored by Thierry Henry in the crucial fixture. Real Madrid will be aiming to level the record in the upcoming quarterfinals. On the other hand, Real Madrid remains unbeaten in the first leg of the knockout stage in their last eight encounters (5 wins and 3 draws). This is the joint highest record for remaining unbeaten in this competition.

"We are here to fight for all the titles"- Carlo Ancelotti

While the fans and pundits raised questions about Real Madrid and Ancelotti’s intent about the season, he mentioned that he is ready to go all guns blazing in the knockouts to win multiple competitions. Ancelotti also emphasized that the experience in the competitions is what matters. He said:

We are here to fight for all the titles until the end no matter what. If it doesn't work out, we have to think about next season, but that is not the case yet.

The experience we have in the Champions League is very important. The knowledge means that you are not afraid of these matches, with this pressure
