Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has provided a massive update on superstar Kylian Mbappe’s fitness. Real Madrid are scheduled to face Celta Vigo in their next clash at the La Liga on October 19 (Saturday). Ancelotti has stated that the France footballer is fit and raring to take the field for the club in this encounter according to Mario Cortegana of The Athletic.
This is an away game for Real Madrid and as the center-forward, Mbappe will play a massive role for the team at the Estadio Abanca-Balaidos. Real Madrid are on a 41-match unbeaten streak at the moment and will be keen on continuing this run. The 36-time La Liga champions are currently in the second position in the table with 21 points having won six and drawn three matches so far this season.
Coming back to Kylian Mbappe, the Frenchman recently took a break from international football and didn’t feature for France at the highest level. He used this time to recover from a thigh injury that he sustained in September. Even though he missed the matches for his country, a lot of speculation was made about his fitness.
However, Carlo Ancelotti has now confirmed that he will be turning up for Real Madrid on Saturday against Celta Vigo. The football club will be hoping for arguably their best player in the line-up to get back to his best in this clash.

For the unversed, Kylian Mbappe joined Real Madrid in the summer transfer window in July this year. Mbappe has been in smashing form for the club scoring a staggering seven goals in 11 matches. In the ongoing La Liga season, the 25-year-old has found the net on five occasions while playing an assist once as well.
He also scored a goal for Madrid in the UEFA Champions League and one goal came at the UEFA Super Cup. Overall in his career in club football, Kylian Mbappe has scored a staggering 295 goals and assisted in 127 in 384 appearances so far. As far as his record for France is concerned, Mbappe has scored 48 goals in 86 matches so far in his storied career.
