Cristiano Ronaldo describes the best moment of his Al Nassr career

Ever since his move to Al Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo has been a poster boy of football in the Middle East. After his fallout with Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford, Ronaldo made the Saudi Pro League his new home and became the first major signing of the league. While he continues to remain the top athlete in the league, he has also helped Al Nassr to become a global brand. From the league that people rarely watch, he has attracted all the media. 

Talking about one of the favorite incidents of his Saudi Pro League tenure, he reminisced about the victory over Al Hilal in the Arab Championship where Al Nassr was down to ten men. In that particular game, Cristiano Ronaldo led the team by example as he scored a brace to win 2-1.

Ronaldo further mentioned that he is happy with the growth of the league and the incoming players. He believes that the new signings to the league across from Europe have made it more competitive. 

For me, it is an honor that the league is growing and many star players are coming to make the league even better and more competitive

The 39-year-old did not hold back on his future. While he acknowledged that he was the first star to be part of the league, he also believes that he has five to ten years in him to be part of the league. He said: 

"To be the first one - let’s say a star - to come here is an honor, but what I’m looking forward to is the next five to 10 years of the league still improving, not only the first teams but also the academies."

At Al Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo has scored left, right, and center and has been too hot to handle for other sides. The player has 80 goals and 18 assists in 89 appearances across all competitions. He has a goal contribution every 80 minutes, making him one of the best to grace the side and the league.
