For several footballers, it is a dream to own a part of the club they previously represented. Most of them become the brand ambassadors of the football clubs they played for and few of them end up owning some other clubs. Amidst this conversation, the former Manchester United player has shown a desire and outlined his plans of owning a part of the club. According to recent reports, the Manchester United and Real Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo has shown interest in owning a part of a big club once he hangs his boots.
Talking at the Globe Soccer Awards, Cristiano Ronaldo revealed his plans about being a part of a big club as an owner. During the mention of this, the player sounded confident and most of the fans know what this confidence means by Ronaldo.
"I am still very young, I have so many plans and dreams ahead but, mark my words, I will be the owner of a big club for sure."
Manchester United and Cristiano Ronaldo had a struggling relationship after he returned to the club in 2022. He fell out with then Manchester United gaffer, Erik ten Hag, and also lashed out at the infrastructure at Old Trafford. However, he still holds higher respect and fanfare amongst the faithful. Talking about his ownership of Manchester United, he outlined that he would make things clear and adjust whatever needed to make them great again. He said :
"If I will be the owner of the club, I will make the things clear and adjust what I think is bad there."

Despite the club struggling this season and just four wins in 10 games, the legendary footballer has pinned his hopes on Ruben Amorim to turn the fortunes around the club. He mentioned that the club will storm the weather and be great again. At Globe Soccer Awards, he said:
"The storm will continue but the storm will finish, and the sun will rise. Fingers crossed that things will be good with him and I hope the best for Manchester United because this is a club that I still love."
Cristiano Ronaldo is on the verge of retirement but with over 900 goals scored (916 goals), he would look to become the first ever to reach 1000 goals in football history. It remains interesting to see if he would achieve the milestone.
