Erling Haaland's phenomenal performance against Slovenia on Thursday helped him become an all-time top scorer for Norway. He has now surpassed the late Jorgen Juve, who held the record with 33 goals for his national team. Haaland found the net twice, scoring his 33rd and 34th goals in his 36th appearance but what grabbed eyeballs was his heart-warming celebration after achieving the landmark. The Manchester City striker brought out a baby celebration and hinted to his fans that he is likely to become a father soon.

Haaland posed for the camera with the ball under his jersey and thumb in his mouth. Later, he uploaded the same image on Instagram and informed his fans that he and his girlfriend Isabel Haugseng Johansen are expecting their first child.

Haaland and his girlfriend have known each other for a very long time. Their first interaction took place at the youth academy at Bryne - the Norwegian club that Haaland plied his trade for. The duo spent more than 10 years at the club before Haaland moved to Borussia Dortmund.

The duo began dating and got into a relationship during Haaland's time at Dortmund. Unfortunately, Johansen doesn't have a social media profile. Fans, though, have seen the duo together more during Haaland's time with Manchester City. They have often been seen celebrating City's trophy successes together.

"It is a record that has stood for a long time ... I felt good"- Erling Haaland

Meanwhile, Erling Haaland expressed joy in becoming Norway's all-time goal scorer. Reflecting on his performance for the national side, here's what he said:

'Of course, it is big and historic. I'm happy, and it's a fantastic record to achieve ... I have many years left. I'm enjoying myself. It was a well- executed match. I am proud. It is a record that has stood for a long time ... I felt good. It's been a long time since I've had this much energy on the field.'

Manchester City, meanwhile, are sitting second in the Premier League standings with five wins in seven games. Erling Haaland is the front-runner for the Golden Boot with 10 goals under his belt, followed by Byran Mbeumo with six.
