Erling Haaland breaks three decade old record with a landmark goal against Brighton and Hove Albion

Erling Haaland has continued to dominate the proceedings in the English Premier League ever since he joined Manchester City. From day 1, it has been all about breaking multiple records at ease. With a goal against Brighton and Hove Albion, he broke one more record where the player has now 100 goal involvements in the English Premier League for Manchester City. He has achieved this feat for the club in fewer games than Alan Shearer. 

In the game against Manchester City, Erling Haaland scored in the 11th minute via penalty but the Seagulls went on to equalize within ten minutes. With the goal, he became the fastest to have 100 G/A in the Premier League and the player has achieved this feat in 94 games while the previous record was set at 100 games by the Newcastle United legend, Alan Shearer.

What did Pep Guardiola say about the players who missed out on the game against Brighton and Hove Albion?

Pep Guardiola was disheartened with the draw but also about players not getting the time to feature on the field. He mentioned that he would look at the players who might feature in the other games based on the style of play. He also felt sorry about the other players not getting the chance to be part of the playing XI.

Pep Guardiola also highlighted the fact that if there are games every three days, he could rotate the side but otherwise, it is very difficult for him to bench the best. He said:
