Here is what Rasmus Hojlund has to say on Manchester United future

Rasmus Hojlund finally found the back of the net against Leicester City after not being able to score in the English Premier League and UEFA Europa League. The Danish striker ended his goal drought of 21 games after he breezed past the Leicester City defense to score the goal. With the goal against Foxes at King Power Stadium, he took his tally to three in 24 Premier League fixtures. 

Talking about the multiple phases he has endured with the Old Trafford outfit, Ramsus Hojlund mentioned that he is fully on board with the plans of Ruben Amorim as the project is incredibly exciting. He also stated that Erik ten Hag was the primary reason behind him moving to Old Trafford. Rasmus Hojlund became the face of Manchester United's attack in ten Hag’s second full season at the club. Hojlund also went on to sympathize with Hag, stating that he was a good and talented coach but things didn't pan out the way he wanted at Manchester United.

While fans continue to remain apprehensive about Rasmus Hojlund, the Danish international mentioned that he is happy with the club and Ruben Amorim. He also applauded Amorim for being a cool character and a great person. He said: 

I'm still very happy to be at Manchester United. It's the club I've always dreamed of playing for. And I'm really happy for Ruben. He's a cool character and a cool person

What next for Manchester United and Rasmus Hojlund? 

With less than ten games left in the Premier League campaign, Manchester United will now focus on securing the European spot for the next year. The club’s only hope to secure the Champions League berth for the next season will be via winning the Europa League with their quarter-finals scheduled to be played after the international break against Lyon. With their upcoming opponents being physical sides, Rasmus Hojlund will have a significant role to play in the club's fortunes. It remains interesting to see how Ruben Amorim utilizes the Danish international in the final part of the season.
