Manchester United continue to struggle with inconsistency and injuries in the ongoing season of the English Premier League. The club has failed to get results, and even in their recent outing against Real Sociedad, Ruben Amorim’s men could only manage a draw despite creating a plethora of chances. A soft penalty ruined the game for them. On the other hand, pressure continues to pile on Ruben Amorim as the club marches toward the final third of the campaign. With the club in 14th position, they might be unable to secure a European competition spot in the remaining games, while their Europa League results do not inspire any confidence.

Ahead of the game against Arsenal, Ruben Amorim mentioned that the club will not provide him the time that Arteta received at Arsenal. He noted that there is a different philosophy at the club. Despite struggling to get results in his initial seasons, Arsenal persisted with Mikel Arteta, which has yielded results, with the team securing spots in the UEFA Champions League in consecutive seasons. While silverware remains distant for the club, they have been able to play a brand of football that has made the fans rejoice in the game.

Ruben Amorim mentioned that Arteta's handling of the situation is an inspiration for everyone, but he will not get the same amount of time that Arteta had. He said:

I will not have the time Arteta had

I feel that. It's a different club.

I think in that aspect, the way Arteta dealt with that is an inspiration for everybody, but I will not have the time like Arteta had.

What did Casemiro have to say about his next season plans?

With a significant chunk of midfielders out of action, Casemiro has had his chance to feature for the Red Devils after being sidelined for a long time. Fans had expected him to make a move away from Manchester United in January, but that did not happen. When asked about next season's plans, Casemiro opined that it is too soon to make any decisions, as he still has an additional year left on his contract, after which he will evaluate the situation. He said:

It's too soon to talk about next season, but, of course, I have another year of [my] contract and then an option
