"It's kind of annoying not to score"- Jadon Sancho expresses displeasure over poor performance
On loan player at Chelsea, Jadon Sancho has mentioned to the in-house media that he is feeling annoyed after being unable to score at Stamford Bridge. He mentioned that he has to take time and be patient and the goal would flow in for him. Sancho mentioned that he is aware of him being able to do better in front of goal. Introspecting his performance, the English international said:
I know I can do better, especially in front of goal. It's kind of annoying not to score. But I know it will come, [I] just have to take time and be patient. It's a great position to be in
Jadon Sancho moved from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester United after enjoying several successful campaigns. However, at Old Trafford, he failed to impress managers like Ralf Rangnick and Erik ten Hag, and was sent on loan to Chelsea in an attempt to salvage his value and give the player a chance to revamp his career. Despite this, he has yet to make a significant impact for the Stamford Bridge outfit in the Premier League.
Talking to the media, Jadon Sancho mentioned that the club and the players are looking forward to featuring in the Champions League in the upcoming season after missing out in 2024/25. He acknowledged that the club faces significantly difficult games, both home and away. He emphasized that they must keep pushing forward and give 100% in every match.
Obviously we want to play Champions League football next year, that's the aim, but it's going to be very tough. We've got a few hard fixtures, home and away, so we just have to keep at it and give it 100% all the time
What next for Chelsea?
