Manchester City cruised to victory against Leicester City in Gameweek 30 of the English Premier League on Wednesday, securing a comfortable 2–0 win over the struggling Foxes. Jack Grealish and Omar Marmoush were the key contributors as both found the net before the hour mark to provide a solid cushion and steer City towards all three points. Winger Jack Grealish dedicated his second-minute goal to his late younger brother, Keelan.

Speaking to the media, the former Aston Villa record signing revealed that the goal was in memory of Keelan, who passed away 25 years ago. He shared that the day remains incredibly difficult for the family, and having his parents present at the match made it even more emotional.

My little brother passed away 25 years ago today,

This day is hard on the family. "My mum and dad were here, so to score and to win was brilliant

Talking about the performance of Jack Grealish, Pep Guardiola, the Manchester City gaffer mentioned that he cannot imagine how tough it can be for his mother, father, and sister. He also mentioned that it is a good deed that they still remember the lost kid but it is good to score on this day even though they remember him everyday. Pep Guardiola said:

I didn't know that and I can't imagine how tough it can be with mum and dad and sister. It is good they remember him, this day. I am sure they remember him every single day. But it is good to score

What did Pep Guardiola say about the positioning of Jack Grealish?

Pep Guardiola started Jack Grealish up top as the striker in the absence of Erling Haaland. When asked by the media about the player’s preferred position, Guardiola noted that while Grealish is naturally comfortable on the wings, he also enjoys playing through the middle, where he has more freedom to roam and create. He said:

He is comfortable playing on the side but he likes to play in the middle because he used to play free
