Luis Diaz speaks on his future at Liverpool
Despite the links with Barcelona, the Colombian and Liverpool winger, Luis Diaz has hinted at a prolonged stay at Anfield. The 28-year-old continues to enjoy his tenure with the club as he has already bagged 37 goals and 17 assists for Liverpool since he moved from Porto. These numbers have come in 136 appearances, putting him at the top list of creators and scorers at Merseyside.
Talking about the link with Barcelona, he mentioned that he is loyal and fully committed to Arne Slot’s plans. He also addressed the comparisons between the Colombians who had taken the league by storm in the past. Díaz said that he is getting to know more about them through social media. Additionally, he mentioned that it feels nice to be getting closer to fellow Colombian players like Rodallega. Playing for multiple clubs during his tenure in the Premier League, Rodallega had 29 goals and 12 assists to his name, which the Liverpool winger has already surpassed. He said:
