Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has reportedly rejected three offers from Saudi Pro League teams. He is also drawing interest from the Major League Soccer side, Seattle Sounders FC. According to a report by Manchester Evening News by Samuel Luckhurst, Rashford has already informed the Saudi Pro League clubs that he is not interested in making that move, at the moment.
Rashford has taken a huge decision in this regard as the clubs reportedly offered the Englishman a massive contract of 35 million pounds per year. Having said that, journalist Ben Jacobs has claimed that MLS side Seattle Sounders are also holding internal discussions with the English forward. Rashford has already confirmed that he is looking for a new challenge. He was left out of the Manchester United squad for four matches in December 2024.
In fact, the club is also open to selling Marcus Rashford, reportedly, this month as he is not in the plans of their new manager Ruben Amorim, anymore.
What did Rashford say on his new challenge last month?
Marcus Rashford is set to leave Manchester United if his recent statements are considered. However, he doesn’t want to keep any hard feelings with the club and has also stated that he will make an official statement while leaving as well.
“For me, personally, I think I'm ready for a new challenge and the next steps. When I leave it's going to be 'no hard feelings'. You’re not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That’s me as a person. If I know that a situation is already bad I'm not going to make it worse. I've seen how other players have left in the past and I don't want to be that person. When I leave I'll make a statement and it will be from me,” Rashford said.
Marcus Rashford has been with Manchester United since 2015-16 and his exit will certainly end a massive legacy. He played a staggering 394 matches for the club, scoring 129 goals and will be looking forward to contributing in the same way for his new team.
