Real Madrid faces injury hurdle ahead of the second leg of the Champions League Quarterfinals

Real Madrid’s entire season is on the line, and the wheels seem to be coming off over the last five days. They were defeated by their La Liga opponent Valencia in the Spanish top flight, putting them four points behind their fellow contenders and title-chasing Barcelona. In midweek, Arsenal put three past them at the Emirates to take the game out of reach. While the whole 90 minutes remain in the hands of Los Blancos, they will have to deliver an inspired performance against a well-trained defensive unit. Amidst this, they are now dealing with an injury to Ferland Mendy, who will be ruled out for at least four games. 

The official report from the club mentioned that Ferland Mendy has a muscle injury in the hamstring of his left leg. The player did not play in the game on Wednesday and will not be available for the second leg either.
