Football pundit and former Irish player Roy Keane is not at all pleased with Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold for his performance against Manchester United in the Premier League. For the unversed, the two teams played out a thrilling 2-2 draw at Anfield even as the Reds were the favourites to clinch the game.

United were the first to find the net through Lisandro Martinez in the 52nd minute but Cody Gakpo equalized, seven minutes later. As the game was meandering along, star Mohamed Salah converted the penalty from the spot in the 70th minute to take Liverpool ahead. Just when everyone thought that Liverpool would win the game, Amad Diallo hit back with an equaliser in the 80th minute and the game eventually finished in a 2-2 draw.

Trent Alexander-Arnold endured a poor game with the majority of United’s chances in both halves coming from his side. Moreover, he lost the ball multiple times in the first half and that led to him being under the scanner.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected to join Real Madrid next season

The 26-year-old is tipped to leave Liverpool at the end of the ongoing season. It is expected that he will be joining Real Madrid in the next season. Keane minced no words in slamming him for his performance against Liverpool and also warned that he will have to up his game if he is joining Madrid.

“Trent Alexander-Arnold has been all over the place defensively. His defending has been schoolboy stuff. He’s got to do better. They’re talking about him going to Real Madrid. The way he’s defending he’s going to Tranmere Rovers after this. He’s got to do better,” he said (via Mirror).

Trent Alexander-Arnold has been playing for Liverpool since the 2016-17 season. He made a staggering 328 appearances so far for the Reds in his career finding the nets 21 times. He is majorly a right-back player and has played a huge role in defending goals for Liverpool in his career. In case, he indeed ends his stay at Liverpool, it will certainly be the end of an era.
