One of the top clubs in Europe at this point, Paris Saint Germain’s rise to European football royalty has boiled down to some of the game’s most lethal finishers. The Parc Des Princes has witnessed some of the best players, who are passionate in front of the goal. From the era of simple football to today’s superstardom, PSG’s eras are defined by strikers who transformed the art of goalscoring.

From the pre-Qatar Sports Investments to the current golden age of the global football powerhouse, the strikers have written their names into French football folklore. In this article, we take a look at goal-scorers of all time for Paris Saint Germain who brought the fans to the Parc des Princes in huge numbers.

Top five goal-scorers of all time for Paris Saint Germain:

1) Kylian Mbappé - 256 goals

When a teenager arrived from Monaco in 2017 on a permanent deal following the loan campaign, nobody would have thought that this little kid would propel the club into a different trajectory. With 256 goals in 308 appearances across all competitions, the Bondy-born player redefined the possibilities in modern football. One of the breathtaking performances came against Lyon in March 2023 where he put five past them in a single game, showcasing what he has in his armory.

What sets him apart is not only his blistering pace and clinical finishing but making extraordinary stuff to look simple. Whether it was a quick counter-attack, a delicate chip, or a thunderous pile driver, he had it all. When he left for Real Madrid, the Parisians left a drop of tear for the joy days he gave for the fans.

2. Edinson Cavani - 200 goals

Edinson Cavani’s journey to scoring 200 goals in 301 appearances was not about the numbers but the dedication, perseverance, and unrelenting work ethic. The Uruguayan international brought the warrior mentality to the French club with his South American grit with grace. The most memorable night came against Caen in 2016, scoring four goals with his great movement and finishing.

What made the Uruguayan forward special wasn't only his ability to find the net but also his selfless runs, sniper on-target shots, and aerial prowess. Even when he played second fiddle to Zlatan first and Mbappe later, El Matador always brought a different aura on the field for his side.

3) Zlatan Ibrahimović - 156 goals

In the four years he spent in the French capital, Zlatan Ibrahimovic left a different mark in the PSG history, scoring 156 goals from 180 appearances. The Swedish icon brought more than goals to France but an aura of invincibility and a winning mentality that transformed the club’s DNA. The most outrageous performance came against Troyes in 2016 where he scored four goals including a 30-yard bicycle kick, defying physics and belief.

The Swedish international was just not a goalscorer, he was a force of nature who demanded excellence from everyone around him. The combo of technical excellence and dominance made him almost unstoppable. May it be a backheel volley or a curving free-kick, Zlatan turned goalscoring into an art.

4. Neymar - 118 goals

During his six-year spell in Paris, Neymar's 118 goals in 173 appearances only tell part of the story. The Brazilian superstar brought a level of creativity and flair that turned football matches into performances of athletic art. His masterpiece came against Istanbul Basaksehir in December 2020, scoring a hat-trick in the Champions League that showcased his complete attacking repertoire.

What made Neymar special wasn't just his goalscoring, it was his ability to make the impossible possible. Neymar’s close control in tight spaces, his vision to spot passes others couldn't see, and his knack for rising to big occasions made him more than just a goalscorer. Despite injuries interrupting his rhythm, each return to the field brought new moments of magic that left fans and opponents alike in awe.

5) Pauleta - 109 goals

Before the era of mega-signings and global superstars, Pedro Miguel Pauleta was PSG's goalscoring king. With 109 goals in 211 appearances, the Portuguese striker became a cult hero during a challenging period for the club. His finest hour came in a 2006 match against Marseille, scoring a hat-trick in the Le Classique that cemented his place in PSG folklore.

What made Pauleta special was his ability to create something from nothing to shoulder the goalscoring burden when the team needed him most. His aerial ability, despite his relatively modest height, combined with his predatory instincts in the box, made him a constant threat. The Eagle's goals weren't just statistics – they were often the difference between victory and defeat during a time when PSG needed heroes more than ever.
