1. Manchester City - 32 wins - 2017/18

They also touched an uncharted territory of 100 points and were famously termed “The Centurions”. Kevin de Bruyne, Sergio Aguero, and Raheem Sterling were a nightmare for the opposition with their playmaking skills and goalscoring form. They clinched the title with five games to spare as Manchester United were a distant second in the league.
Manchester City finished with 19 points of their city rivals and went on to break multiple Premier League records, including the most away wins, highest goal difference in the league (+79) and most consecutive wins across competitions. Aguero and Sterling accounted for 39 goals in the league whereas de Bruyne had fine creating 16 goals.
2. Liverpool - 32 wins - 2019/20
After getting heartbroken in the 2018/19 season, Liverpool finally landed the title in 2019/20 when they won the Premier League title during the COVID-19 pandemic. In that season, they did not let anyone go past them with a record 32 wins in the league. Liverpool were dominant in the league from game one, where the trio of Salah, Mane, and Firmino were devastating in the attack whereas Virgil van Dijk and Alisson ensured that there was a sturdy defense.
The team went on to win the title with seven games remaining, the earliest title win in Premier League history. They finished a season one short of a hundred points while ending a 30-year wait for the top-flight title.
3. Manchester City - 32 wins - 2018/19
In one of the most intense Premier League title races, Manchester City came out on top with just a point compared to Liverpool, who ended the season with 97 points. Pep Guardiola’s men pipped Liverpool on the final day of the campaign, in the second half against Aston Villa to register the title that was not in their grasp.
In the entire campaign, Cityzens registered a record 32 wins with them going 14 games unbeaten in the end. Sergio Aguero was the key architect in their title with 21 goals whereas Bernardo Silva took the duty of creating magic in the midfield. Manchester City also completed an unprecedented domestic treble, winning the Premier League, FA Cup, and League Cup in the same season.
4. Liverpool - 30 wins - 2018/19
Imagine a season where winning 30 games in a campaign is not enough to land a title. The same happened with Liverpool in 2018/19. The Merseysiders went on to win a record 30 games in their history to only end up in second place with 97 points. It is the record-highest point for a runner-up in Premier League history.
Jurgen Klopp’s men had one of the finest campaigns in the history of the Premier League. They were short of one game from repeating Arsenal’s “Invincibles”. Liverpool lost only one game in the league and conceded overall 22 goals. Mohamad Salah and Sadio Mane enjoyed goal-scoring form at the top with both finishing the campaign with Golden Boots. However, City clinched the title on the final day of the campaign, breaking Liverpool's hearts.
5. Chelsea - 30 wins - 2016/17
One of the infamous clubs in the Premier League circuit known for hiring and firing managers, Chelsea, saw and set a record for the most wins in a Premier League season with 30 wins. The Italian, Antonio Conte, set the side up with a 3-4-3 formation to adjust to the early season struggle. The side set on to win 13 games continuously to make an impressive comeback in the league and win from a situation where they were not even the contenders. Eden Hazard, N’Golo Kante, and Diego Costa were important in the side's success.
With 30 wins, three draws and five losses, the Blues went on to register 93 points in the league with a GD of 53. Tottenham Hotspurs were leading the title race, only to be replaced by Chelsea in the final gameweeks. The victory was impressive as the Blues finished 10th in the previous campaign.
