Cristiano Ronaldo was caught on camera making furious gestures after being disallowed a goal in the Saudi Pro League on Sunday (January 26). For the unversed, his team Al Nassr won the match beating At Fateh 3-1 in the clash but then, Ronaldo being denied a goal was the most talked about point after the game.
In fact, two of his goals were disallowed via VAR before Ronaldo eventually scored a goal in the 87th minute, the third of his team's win. However, the 40-year-old made his frustration visible at the end of the match, making furious gestures at the camera.

Journalist Piers Morgan also attended this clash and embraced the veteran after the match. He too claimed that Ronaldo was ‘robbed’ of a legitimate goal. Morgan greeted the Portugal legend while letting him know that it was ridiculous that the goal was disallowed.
However, by finding the net in the 87th minute, Ronaldo smashed the 920th goal in his professional career. This was his 14th in the Saudi Pro league, this season. He has been with the club since the 2022-23 season and has made 80 appearances so far, scoring 75 goals across three different competitions - Saudi Pro League, AFC Champions League and Saudi Super Cup.
Al-Nassr remain at third spot after crucial win
Meanwhile, Al-Nassr have remained at the third spot despite a stunning 3-1 win over the bottom-placed Al-Fateh. They have so far played 17 matches this season in Saudi Pro League and have won 10, drawn five, and lost two with 35 points to their name.
The top two teams - Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad respectively - have 43 points each so far after 16 matches with 14 wins, a draw, and a loss each. Al-Nassr will have to keep up their winning momentum and hope that the top two teams slip up at some point to have any chance of lifting the trophy this season. They next face Al-Raed on January 30 at 10:30 PM IST.
