When Arsenal were about to have the best season of their recent years with them in the quarterfinals of the Champions League and hope of winning the Premier League still alive despite the points difference, the Gunners suffered the injury again. While Bukayo Saka had returned from the injury, it was Gabriel, who was ruled out due to a hamstring injury. Taking social media platforms to express his disappointment, Gabriel Maghalaes posted that he will be coming back stronger than ever. While on the sidelines, he will continue to support his side. He posted:

I'll be back soon, stronger than ever. Until then, I'll be supporting the team every step of the way

Vinicius Jr, the Real Madrid superstar forward commented the best for the player and hoped for a speedy recovery. He posted:

Get well soon my brother!!!

What did Mikel Arteta say about Gabriel’s injury?

While Mikel Arteta mentioned that this is a tough injury to digest, he also mentioned that there are resources to help him deal with. Ahead of the game against Fulham, in the press conference, he mentioned that they got Saka back but Gabriel is ruled out. He also consoled himself about the side having to deal with the injuries throughout the campaign:

It was a tough one to digest because we just got Bukayo [Saka] back [from a hamstring injury] and then we lose Gabi. It was tough but the team reacted like they have all season

We've come so far and now we have the most important, beautiful part of the season. We have to react to those things. That means that other players are going to have opportunities to play. The team has to find other ways. It is a big miss undoubtedly but we have the resources to cope with that

What next for Real Madrid?

Following the La Liga fixture against Valencia on 05th April, Real Madrid would want to be on top of the table and keep the pressure on the opposition, Barcelona. Following that, in the midweek, they will be facing Arsenal in the Champions League fixture at the Emirates Stadium on 9th April
